The Whirlpool RF199 generic water filter is mounted in the plinth grill below the doors. The filter is approximately 25.3cm long x 4.8cm diameter. Some Ariston Fridge models, such as the MSZ802DF & MSZ801D also use the 4396508
Installing your new water filter:
•Remove the filter by turning anti-clockwise about a quarter of a turn and pulling forward.
•The filter handle is transferred to the new filter, by sliding off, and is refitted by inserting with the handle in the vertical position and rotating clockwise until it stops.
•The filter must be rotated completely, to open an internal valve, allowing water to flow. Note: you do not need to turn off the water tap to remove the filter.
•Reset your “change filter” light (if your fridge has one).
Resetting your “change filter” light:
Press the light switch (the one that the refrigerator door presses every time you close the door) 5 times within 10 seconds. OR If the fridge has a filter button, press and hold it for 5-10 seconds.
